Parish Councils
The Borough of Tonbridge and Malling has 34 Parish Council wards. Each of these has it's own Parish Council which consists of between two and thirteen parish councillors (this depends on the number of voters/electorate in the area). Parish Council wards appoint their own parish clerk (although some of the small Parish Council wards are grouped together an share a parish clerk). Each Parish Council also appoints one of the Parish Councillors as Chairman.
Town Councils
The Parish or Town Council Clerk is often the best person to contact if you wish to discuss matters relating to your parish. They will then be able to tell you who your parish councillors are and provide contact details for them. Alternatively you could contact the Chairman of the Parish or Town Council.
Please note that all parish council correspondance should be directed to the Parish Clerk and not the Borough Council. Tonbridge and Malling are not responsible for the forwarding of postal or email correspondance, other than in exceptional circumstances.
