The General Purposes Committee of 10 June 2026 granted a dispensation to enable Cllr D King:

(1)            to participate in meetings of the Borough Council where

(i)              the Local Plan was under consideration; or

(ii)             any applications for development in respect of the site identified as T01 (land north east of Tonbridge) was under consideration;

in circumstances where he would otherwise be required to declare an Other Significant Interest; and

(2)            the dispensation to remain in effect until the next scheduled Borough Council elections.
