Meetings and Decision Making

Government has announced that the legislation allowing Councils to hold meetings online will not be extended beyond 7 May 2021. This means that the Borough Council is required to hold face to face meetings unless the law is changed.

All meetings held on Borough Council premises will have to comply with any covid regulations and/or guidance in place at the time and the way meetings are conducted will change. Information on how the public can attend and/or observe meetings will be available on our website following an assessment of the risks and how social distancing measures can be maintained.
